Wander Gourmet takes you, in a small group, through a Paris neighbourhood by pedal-assist electric bike. Several tasting stops at hand-picked artisans, and a host who brings the city to life between every bite.
On foot, a food tour barely covers a block. By electric bike you cross a whole neighbourhood without tiring: from the baker to the cheesemonger, the wine merchant, the chocolatier, keeping your appetite for what's next.
Electric assist flattens the hills and the distances. You cover four to five times the ground of a walking tour, without sweating or losing your appetite.
Independent bakers, cheesemongers, wine merchants, chocolatiers, charcutiers: houses chosen for their product and their story, not for their brand.
Between tastings, your host brings the neighbourhood to life: its figures, its anecdotes, the story behind each address. The ride feeds your curiosity.
Up to five guests per host. Time to talk with the artisans, to ask questions, to savour. The opposite of a mass tour.

Who does what. Wander Gourmet designs and guides the tour. Each tasting is prepared and served by the artisan who welcomes you, on their own premises. Wander Gourmet neither prepares nor handles any food. Any drinks, wine included, are served by the artisan at their own venue; they remain optional, are never served to minors, and no alcohol is tasted while riding. L'abus d'alcool est dangereux pour la santé, à consommer avec modération. Excessive drinking is harmful to your health. Please drink responsibly.

Request a quoteIndicative prices including the tastings served by the artisans who welcome you, the use of a pedal-assist bike and a helmet. A shared tour departs from 3 participants: 7 days before the date we write to you to confirm the departure or, if the group has not come together, to cancel it and offer you a reschedule or a full refund of sums paid. Private and group tours are not subject to this departure minimum; they are billed for at least three people. Each host guides 5 guests at most; beyond that, a second host and a second convoy set off at the same prices, subject to our availability. These prices are not a firm offer: the final price, dates and exact content of the tour are confirmed at the time of booking.

contact@wander-gourmet.parisNo. The bikes are pedal-assist, easy to handle, and the pace stays gentle. Being able to balance is enough. There's time to get the hang of it and a safety briefing at the start, and the helmet is provided.
Let us know at booking. We pass your declaration on to the artisan concerned before the tour, and you can ask them directly on the day; the list of the fourteen regulated allergens (the EU “INCO” regulation) is held by each professional for the products served. We adapt the tour as much as possible, especially for a vegetarian diet.
Each tasting is prepared and served by the artisan, on their premises, under their own food-safety responsibility. Wander Gourmet designs and hosts the tour but does not handle the food.
Depending on the tour, a house may serve a glass, at a wine merchant's or a restaurateur's. No alcohol is consumed while you ride. An alcohol-free tour is possible, just let us know.
Our tours are leisure services provided on a set date: the law (article L. 221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code) provides no 14-day right of withdrawal. Our terms of sale set out the cancellation and rescheduling terms, which we apply flexibly.
Tours are guided in French and English (other languages on request for private groups). The meeting point depends on the neighbourhood chosen; it's confirmed at booking and is usually near a metro station.
A little rain does not stop us: the bike links the houses and the tastings take place indoors, at the artisans who welcome you. If conditions make the outing unsafe, we offer you a reschedule or a full refund, as article 7 of our terms provides.
